As 5th Vision's work is mainly based on production, the studio does not have facilities for live drum recording. The drums that can be heard on Demo Vault are either "hand-played" samples, programmed and designed for the individual track, or imported tracks.

In the situations where I mix/produce from imported tracks, I can also use a technique where the individual tracks are "tricker" sampled. A technique that is widely used today.

In this way, a large and nuanced sound image can emerge from e.g. mediocre recordings.
